What this also means:
We (@SafeguardingResearch) can only rescue things from the flames, can only try to pull them out of the burning building. But we can't stop the fire or extinguish the flames.

Safeguarding only applies to 'dead' things, but most things need a living community to be useful and have value. We can't safeguard living communities, we can only support them.

This is true for Saxony-Anhalt as well as for the USA or elsewhere.

Feel free to do as you suggested, I'll support you.

But that's not what SRC does, we focus on safeguarding materials. Do one (large) job and do it well, instead of many jobs done haphazardly.
It needs many different groups doing different things to put out the (global) flames :)
