@christa I love learning more about artists' motivations and inspirations for their work, and I especially love it when an artist surprises me by deviating from their expected norm. Whether commercially successful or not, there's usually wonderful work to be found. :)
@cstanhope I love trans so much, and I love introducing people to trans so much. he says this album came about as he was learning to communicate with his nonverbal son. also in the midst of a heavy devo phase (he collabed with them on human highway. entertaining with an unfortunate instance of brown face around an oil crisis but)
