@jpm Dunno. Not equipped to investigate it. Pedal went straight to the floor and not a single gear could be selected.
In any case, the cost to repair vs its value is…well a calculator is going to be involved.
@MattHatton this is sounding quite familiar, yeah. Pedal didn’t return by itself either?
@jpm It did. There was just no resistance anywhere along the line.
@MattHatton ooooof, yeah that’s not a fun job. Is it the actual clutch, or the hydraulics connecting to the pedal? On Cars Of A Certain Age, the return spring in the master cylinder corrodes through and eventually disintegrates. Ask me how I know when I was half way up Mt Wellington in Hobart…
