That's kind of funny, because last night it occurred to me that I should do this with one particular service today, but remembering these things as you're trying to go to sleep isn't a good plan, so thank you!
I just hope that it works out better than my last few attempts to cancel my uberone account, because I always remember 2 days before the account renews, and they sneakily don't allow it 48 hours beforehand. 😡

One of the many reasons why I don't watch any movies or series anymore, is that unsubscribing from certain services is so difficult it might as well be impossible, and there's no way I can afford paying for them all simultaneously.

As a self-hoster, I'm actually subscribed to a VPS that I use as an external access point, so yup, for me that's covered

@Daojoan I keep good track of what I'm subscribed to. I've purged all the streaming services years ago because they are all bullshit.
Everything I either bought lifetime licenses which have already paid themselves off in the time I've been using them and Proton which I understand why it's a subscription based and I'm willingly fine with it for a reason.
