There is a Bash SSG made by someone on here, which sounds similar? There's also UNK, which is a really small SSG made with Bash and Awk...
@meljoann I usually start with 11ty for such projects
This seems like less work than updating my custom theme to the new Zola version 😭 And Hugo theme shenanigans mean I need to install a separate version for each site
