Hey! I love little paperback picturebooks featuring 80s and 90s cartoon characters.
You know the one's I'm talking about?
I used to have a bunch that were he-man and thundercats themed, when I was a child.
They kind of look like the book and record books, but without the records?
Is there a name for this format/style?
This is as close as my childhood got to Big Little Books (and the associated Big Big Books) which I have collected obsessively as an adult.
I got mine from my first grade teacher.
I *remember* that she gave them to me, because I was obsessed with the ones she had in her classroom.
But I might have stolen them. I was a notorious child thief.
But she really liked me, and I was the only kid in the class who ever even touched that bookshelf, and all the books were about TV shows that hadn't been on the air for like 6 years already, and I read them *all* over and over again, so it's possible she actually gave them to me, like I remember.
It looks like the Thundercats book specifically was published by Random House?

They were Golden Book paperbacks, apparently.
And knock offs of same, probably.
