@davidgerard this just pop up randomly on my feed, and it made me smile, especially the last line.
I don't think the person has a clue what rude it, as this wasn't even close, curt maybe but not rude.
Perhaps the thing was really a paranoid AI released to test us 😀
i wish i knew where this "everything i say is made of gold and if you say i'm wrong you're being mean and rude" bullshit comes from. just want to talk, i swear.

@davidgerard Drawings is one area where AI has definitely chosen a style that was popular-ish before AI came around, and I hate it. I'm always waiting for the day I'm the "them" in your conversation, but I'm ready to accept I got it wrong.
The closest to wrong I have knowingly been so far ended up being "independent animators" who exclusively used AI for all their images after all. If you dug deep enough through their website and info.

@davidgerard Something that should really be taught in some web etiquette class is that, if you're reaching out to someone, make sure your message is short and to the point.
No accusations. Ask questions and clearly say what you have to offer, if anything.
If you must write an essay... don't. Maybe include it as a details.txt attachment if you're so insistent on making it available, but know that's basically like trying to ask someone out while handing them your CV in an envelope.
