I think it tells us a lot that consent is not really explored in fairytales.
Even when you sanitise Sleeping Beauty. It's problematic.
Do the proper tales with all the gore. Own the evil.

@onepict also Goldilocks burgles the bears house, nicks their food and trashes their property (although in original versions she is an old lady with possible mental health problems rather than a young girl, and the bears are chilled out enough not to attack her and just let her run away)

@onepict Agree that consent is rare in traditional stories AFAIK.
In hindsight, although I disliked the scariness, some of the Victorian stories might edge above with a moral message.
