So not such a good afternoon. I ordered something from EBay; I know, that was taking a risk. It was coming from the US to the UK.
Well, the tracking claims it has been delivered but it hasn't. The seller isn't that interested in the problem, so I will have to contact EBay for a refund, which theoretically I should be able to do tomorrow, according to the web site.

@alexchapman @brian oh i would, definitely as you were nearly scammed.
@ChocolatePie I went throught the customer service thing and told them, they've requested a redelivery, and are aware of the scam attempt, so if I don't hear anything in 48 hours to contact them and they'll either refund me or something. @brian
@alexchapman Oh you definitely must call them, although I've found in the past even that isn't the easiest process to speak to someone. But you have to try. Every are terrible anyway.

@brian Oh, so I'm not the only one that's had delivery problems, I ordered something from Amazon, was supposed to be delivered by Evri, but they're pulling some nonsense and when I ranted about it on Twitter they got me in touch with someone supposedly from customer support, but turned out to be an Indian scammer trying to get hundreds of pounds from me, I told them no, and when I ranted about that the support account blocked me. So now I'm half tempted to call up Amazon customer services and tel them what's happened and that as I am a prime member this is unacceptable.
