@Edent HTML is NOT a programming language -- and all the bastard attempts to make it so (I'm looking at you, #PHP) should be shunned.

We do not mix logic with presentation.

@Edent There is (or so I like to believe) a technical advantage in using valid HTML, even though (as you rightly point out) browsers will automatically fix up any validation errors - closing a tag here, opening a new one there, inserting an implicit tag somewhere else - because there's no guarantee *how* a browser will resolve a given error (1/2)
