What the? #CrowUpdate (no pics, sorry, it's raining). I was minding my own business (preparing a blog post) when I suddenly heard a crow calling in the park, but that voice... I went to check out and... Ms Crow showed up, Mr Crow showed up and... I didn't dream... Junior showed up!!!
WTF is s/he doing here? As I suspect Ms Crow to have resumed roosting, I assume that s/he followed her back "home" this morning... Now, here is the interesting thing... ⤵️
Can crows understand when a typhoon is approaching several days in advance...?🤔 That'd be wild (but birds can detect a bunch of things, so you never know).
Oh wait, I do have a picture! While I was typing this, Junior came and landed on the neighbor's roof, right in front of me (at first, mom was nearby, but then she left).
S/he's been standing there for the past few minutes. I put a peanut on my balcony, but I don't think s/he'll dare to land there without a parent.
No idea where mom and dad are. I guess they went running errands and left me with Junior for baby sitting.

And by "interesting thing" I mean a total wild guess from me. The only juvenile I ever saw again after it left was Junior 2023 who returned not once, but twice. And the first time it returned was just before a typhoon. As if the adults knew the typhoon was coming, and they went to fetch the juvenile to teach it what to do or something. And... There's a typhoon approaching which may or may not come here. in a few days (probably not, but you never know) ⤵️
