I keep having thoughts that I should start a health-food company to sell *guaranteed* zero-calorie HFCS-free gluten-free non-GMO salt at premium prices, and likewise for zero-calorie HFCS-free gluten-free non-GMO water.
There are plenty of organic salts. They consist of organic cations and anions

In fact there's an entire field of "ionic liquids" that are organic salts that are liquids at room temperature. Some are used as solvents for reactions, others as electrolytes for Li ion batteries. They're quite useful.
