The website for the local cycling club, bless them, is exactly the sort of mess you would imagine from a small enthusiast volunteer community, including what appears to be a fully public, searchable member directory listing, at minimum, name and local metro area. (It's possible this is an opt-in directory and I'm only seeing listings specifically designsted as public, but still.)

@genehack Yeah, I have ambitions of gutting and overhauling the website for the Unitarian Universalist congregation I'm part of, but it is such a creaky behemoth shaped by years of momentary, reactive decisions that doing so will be a whole ordeal.
@spencerdub I always want to volunteer to help with crap like that and it just never works out
