it's a custom emoji with some servers have and some servers don't
if you run your own server it's easy to add, otherwise you have to ask an admin to add it so you can use it in posts or your bio
any small png or even animated gif can work, provided you have buy-in from an admin to actually add it.
@dannotdaniel @vijayshankar If you want to see all the custom emoji on a specific server and the text you can type to access them directly when using an account on that server, there's a site for that. For instance this shows the ones on hachyderm: https://emojos.app/hachyderm.io
