I don't wish to be unkind, but it really is a damning indictment of alttext when you post a silly picture of a Christopher Walken doll, write in the alttext that it's a silly Christopher Walken doll, and then just absolutely loads of people respond to say it looks a bit like a Christopher Walken doll.
@TheBreadmonkey People don’t read. You could’ve put it as the first sentence and someone would’ve missed it.
@TheBreadmonkey as the saying goes, 'if it looks like Christopher Walken and quacks like Christopher Walken, chances are that it's Christopher Walken'.
@TheBreadmonkey 😂
I was laughing about this during my morning bc I always read your alt text, you are an Alt Text God.
@TheBreadmonkey He's a lumberjack and he's ok
Er.... happy birthday?
@TheBreadmonkey there's nothing silly about The Deer Hunter
@TheBreadmonkey "But #AltText is only for blind people."
Personally I love alt text, especially when it is more than just "a photo of a dog".
@TheBreadmonkey @GoodCheerPixie That dog looks nothing like Christopher Walken, though.
@TheBreadmonkey "Photo of a dog with a pearl necklace" to be precise.
@TheBreadmonkey I forgot to mention that Christopher Walken doll you posted earlier explaining that it was a Christopher Walken doll in the alt text looked a lot like a doll someone might make of Christopher Walken.
I got a fever, and the only cure is more explanations that it’s a Christopher Walken doll.
@Nickiquote @TheBreadmonkey
I’m sorry I couldn’t help but read that as Christopher Walken
Pardon? Biscoff and Pork-Men? No idea what you're talking about.
@TheBreadmonkey Are people not reading the alt text? Maybe I should stop putting the good content there.
