Does anyone else say "fu¢k you" under their breath whenever they encounter any reference to AI?
@Alice Not so much under my breath any more
@Alice
I’m remote, so I usually express that sentiment by “accidentally” hanging up or “losing” WiFi.
@Alice No. I work at a tertiary education institution and would be saying it every 30 seconds…
@Alice Yes but out loud.
@Alice more like a rage that can't be explained with words mixed with fatigue
@Alice I say "alexa... Go fuck yourself" a lot too.
@Alice I think it.
@Alice I think your keyboard is broken
@Alice not under my breath, no.
No. ChatGPT automatically does that for me.
@Alice Yes.
I'm in a two hour mandatory AI workshop at work tomorrow. We've all been asked to bring our stories of how we use AI for the breakout sessions.
Anyway, I've 4 mouths to feed and am about to be unemployed. You can contribute to my kickstarter here...

Sounds like your managers are Business Idiots. Maybe they wouldn't notice if you made some shit up? They don't seem to notice when "AI" routinely does it ...
As a Spanish speaker, I often read AI as "¡ay!"
@csolisr Y en español, es IA... por ejemplo, "¡basta IA!"
@Alice Depends on how organic it is...
@Alice It's only in response to a prompt. They don't need to get angry.
There's a good chance one of the people replying is AI.
@Alice No, I mostly do that with bandwagons. Been noticing them trundling the opposite way in 2026. Still don't like 'em. ;-)
