Target, we need to have a serious talk about whatever this is.
@Alice Obviously designed by the same nincompoops who think usable pockets have no place on women's clothing!
@Alice I may need this. While it appears to be an affront against shirts, who doesn’t want to wear an affront against shirts? Also maybe it can be part of a Halloween costume. Just add hands!
@Alice This looks like it was designed by one of those generative image AIs,
@Alice knew i was boycotting them for a reason,
@Alice Clothes for AI figures with extra limbs
Alright, who installed StableDiffusion on the Jacquard loom? We can stay here all day 'til someone owns up.
@Alice camp david energy. Negative uncle energy.
@Alice Well, it's good to see clothes with change parts. obviously they can't put those on the inside sewing like buttons. Slow fashion is on it's way !
(... ok, 'fashion' might not be fitting for that thing.)
@Bilchi Ich schätze, das passiert, wenn man Klamotten von KI entwerfen lässt 🤭
@Alice Huh, didn't know Target could afford to hire Demna Gvasalia as lead designer.
@puretaste that KBB tag on the clothes leads me to believe the designer is named Kahlana Barfield Brown https://www.target.com/b/kbb-by-kahlana/-/N-q643levo1q3 @Alice
@delcj @puretaste Thank you! I pulled up the link to the shirt but was saddened to find there wasn't a bunch of photos of people wearing the shirt in ridiculous ways to mock it.
@Alice it's Target's site so of course their very good-looking and well-styled models make it FASHION. if someone's put together a zany outfit with that shirt or those pants, it would probably have to be on tumblr or something.
@delcj Oh! I meant in the reviews section with user submitted photos. But it was just one woman who was taking that shirt far too seriously.
@Alice omg Target has user-submitted photos? i think my browser is protecting me from a bunch of stuff on the site so i missed it because it loads weird sometimes.
@Alice I’m cackling 😂
