Apple TV 27 and the Apple TV still doesn’t support ipv6.
This is a shame.

@stefano That's a curious standout that I didn't expect, as Apple is generally one of the best in supporting everything around v6 and requiring apps to be tested in v6-mostly environments before submission to the app store 
@jana exactly. That's why I'm so puzzled. There's no ipv6 setting in the Apple TV network page, just ipv4.
It’s not shown in the UI but it’s used internally, you can find with a Bonjour browser.

@stefano I am 100% sure that even earlier versions of iOS support IPv6 (e.g. SLAAC, NAT64, 464XLAT/CLAT ...). What isn't working exactly?

@stefano iOS definitely supports IPv6. I can see the two SLAAC addresses my iPhone currently has on my home network.
I also know the Apple TV supports IPv6, though it doesn't expose it in the UI. I used to have to block the AAAA records of some Netflix servers on my router whose streaming of video over IPv6 was broken.
@stefano that’s wild!! Especially since Apple recently started enforcing a policy that all apps MUST work on an IPv6 only network 😂
