Hey friends, I'm behind the times. Bandcamp used to be the ethical place to buy DRM-free music you can put on your own device, but I don't want to assume that's still the case. Where's the go-to place now?

@pjf Bandcamp is still the best option that I know about, despite having been bought out, and "Bandcamp Friday" where they don't take their cut of the amount you paid is still nice for sending more money to musicians. (https://isitbandcampfriday.com/)
@pjf I'm still going there for that purpose... it's one of the few places around that's not fully compromised... although I gather it's falling from grace. Sigh.
