It appears that I'm a passport stamp and a plane ticket away from a move to Galicia.
The wait for the stamp is tough: could be tomorrow, could be November or anywhere in between.

@ericg I get uncomfortable when I read about Galicia because I'm not sure why there are two, and it makes me feel queasy.
Are they related? Is it like the Spanish Netherlands -- some weird exclave inherited through the winding connections of European royalty?
Unfortunately, not. Two places with different names that were latinised the same way:
