It's been obvious for a few years that the AI industry is building a great big
financial bomb made of recycled debt, but I'm sort of amazed at just *how* big the bomb is.
Even if AI was *all that* technically - which it isn't - the financial bomb will *still* go off.
At this point the questions should all be: when, not if, it goes off - what happens next?

Keep in mind that *just now*, as strategic reserves get completely depleted, we're starting to see oil go up, up, up in cost, shortages of key materials for manufacturing, and the cascading unemployment and capital withdrawal. The bond markets are acting weird, the petrogarchies are convulsing, and China is quiet as a mouse.
We're headed toward an inflection point, anyway.
An economic catastrophe right now on top of that would...throw us into totally new territory.
