Between this, Burnham's failure to back funding caps, Musk's interventions, and the terrible outlook for France and Germany right now, I don't think anything can shake normie libs out of the notion that money in politics is fine-ish (maybe? they're not sure).

AND NORMIE LIBS ARE DOING NOTHING TO STOP IT. That's what's blowing my mind. The lies that are echoing in France are *identical* to the lies that gave Britain a decade of misery. All that's missing is a red bus with lies on! And all the while, as billionaire money floods the zone to ward off the end of upward wealth redistribution, "consultants" to the in-power normies are whispering that it's going to be "fine". It's not! Look at the US! It's not fine!

I can't keep the phrase "Putin expects a Europe of Trumps this time next year" out of my head. Can't remember who said it, but when we peel it all back and the history is written, I will not be surprised if a decent chunk of the overall arc has been bent by the Kremlin's petro/klepto/mafioso state.
