It is harvest season in Denmark, and my tiny Malus Baccata apple tree has had a wonderful year. The tree is only 1.6 meters tall, yet the yield is 4 kg of its miniature apples (diameter 3-4 cm).
In Denmark we call them “Paradise Apples”. We make jelly from them which we eat on top of lamb or veal steaks during the winter.
I live in Vejle which has a very mild climate, right next to the main Apple production area of Denmark, the Island of Funen, so maybe that explains the excellent yield.

@randahl Wow, looks like even the natural Apples are into miniaturization (3-4 cm! 😧). Here the summer heatwaves crippled nearly all fruits. Even chestnut shells have started falling down weeks ago dry and empty. 😢
