Why are we still not sanctioning India?

@randahl because the EU fears to bring India closer to China if we sanction India.
India already tightened it's relations with China following sanctions by the US and India is considered a trustworthy partner by many low-income countries. Unlike the EU which seems bigot in it's evaluation of three big conflicts (Ukraine: russia is a warmonger; Gaza: yeah, we don't know really; Iran: oh, is this against international law? Who knows?)
