25 years after what we in the USA would come to just know as “9-11”, I can still remember where I was that morning when I got a phone call telling me to turn on the news…..
I think that is probably true of most of us who were alive then. It was a day to remember. 😢
@danyork I had turned on the radio and gotten in the shower. I used to listen to Mark and Brian in the morning, and they were talking about a plane crashing into one of the WTC buildings. I thought it was a skit and was getting mad because it wasn't funny. It took too long for me to realize it wasn't a skit.
When I got out of the shower, I turned the TV on.
I got a call from work telling me to stay home because I worked in a high rise (30+ stories) at the time, and they were evacuating.
