I think it's incredibly hard to run a big internet thing in a welcoming way while also being a poster, full stop. A few people are built for it, most of us are not.

Hell yes I will delete for a typo. This is yet another reason I am not cut out for Big Posting.
I also think the best way forward for people not at Bsky PBC to advocate for the protocol and ecosystem is to make the hardest-working most unmissable things possible, make them for real people, and help more people find them. I think that's mostly what works, and there's a lot of that going around.
