Good news, everyone! It looks like FreeDOS decided to ban AI writing the code for FreeDOS: https://www.freedos.org/about/ai/
They used to have a few LLM authored commits, so I was worried things will deteriorate/bit rot. Hopefully they will not!

I'm waiting for a definitive statement from the OpenBSD team. In the meantime, NetBSD looks more and more interesting.

Excellent news! Would be great if more OS developer communities would follow suit. I slowly start to worry about my next OS.
