I am angry and sad about the night sky (and the rest of the planet) getting destroyed by billionaires and I would really like some auroras to cheer me up please! (And if those spicy protons overload some satellites maybe that's ok too. Especially AST SpaceMobile satellites.)

Heyyyyyy these were just barely naked-eye visible, and only for a couple minutes. But I got some auroras! Thanks, universe.
(Also a shit ton of satellites, as always. But the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy are still there, behind all the billionaire streaks)

We live near Tamworth in NSW, Australia. This is as far from aurora generating country as you can get.
But...
In November, last year, there was a massive solar storm that delivered for us. You barely see this with the naked eye but the camera brought the colour out.
Achievement unlocked. But really would like to see a better aurora one day.
