trying again, it's friday afternoon and my instance seems to be working better for the moment
what's most? outrageous is how much money probably changed hands to serve up this slop i was required to engage with
@inquiline i can't imagine what this is supposed to communicate. it seems like it was created by whoever makes the non-standard street signs found in various places in Quebec.
this is too charitable, assuming a person or organization with odd graphic priorities made the signs in quebec (this whole preso was obviously "crafted" with/by AI)
@inquiline idk about odd graphic priorities. the signs i'm talking about are nearly indecipherable. the one that i can easily remember is a sign meaning "keep your valuables locked in your car", but it really looks like "don't let witches take photos of your trunk".
here's another good example.

also how much money our institutions are burning through paying for the privilege of staff and students using these tools (and at what other costs, needless to say)
i gave up after this one. WTF, man. to work in this environment is to submit to being infantilized while also being defunded. (it might be funny that rightwing activists get away with spinning lies about professors nefariously running higher ed and brainwashing students if it weren't so far from the truth)
