I know, I'm sorry! But really. The key theme of this movie is so good. It undoes a lot of the damage from the prequels. I would say more, but, spoilers.

I actually wasn't mad at them!
Most of all, I hate all the pseudo-scientific retcons about the Force.
There are other things which were cringey (Jar-Jar, Jar-Jar's accent, trying to make "wizard" happen), but eh.
Oh, also, it occurrs to me that you probably watched the "special edition" version of the original trilogy, which goes back and puts a bunch of stupid stuff in those. (That is a whole different rant, though. Let's just keep it to: Han shot first. Jabba is an off-screen menace in the first movie. And Lando is in real danger in Cloud City.)
