@EUCommission Hey great! That sounds like good news! But ... it's kinda weird. I see nothing about how housing need to stop being handled as "investments", how real estate scalpers will be hunted down, or real estate corporations that control more than a certain amount of units will be broken up. Surely you simply forgot to mention these essential points that are necessary to actually solve the housing problems?
Four replies so far, and all of them shitting on the proposal without saying a word what’s wrong with it. As usual.
It’s okay to say that the European Commission proposals or actions are wrong or bad, but then do that, and say what’s wrong. There’s plenty to criticise. Let’s criticise them for the right reasons.

If you really believe that—which I don't think you do—then instead of pouring trillions of euros into weapons systems, build housing.
@EUCommission more talk. House owners don't vote to devalue their properties. Particularly the elderly who are using them as retirement. Housing developers aren't going to do it. Until governments are willing to force it nothing will improve and the fair right win votes.
