AusGov has started trialling its cyber security labelling thing https://ia.acs.org.au/article/2026/smart-devices-get-cyber-safety-rating.html
@emmadavidson Check out Ecovacs on Ebay, and make them an offer lower than the advertised price. They're very good on deal making and their vacs are excellent. Don't bother with mopping as it's a bit useless but make sure it's got mapping so it can map everything and keep it in its brain.
@VWDasher thanks! I have a small apartment, it wouldn’t take much for the least efficient robovac to do the job.
@emmadavidson I've got a basic one of theirs, was like $200 and does a brilliant job! Fantastic with pet hair. Just program it to do a lap on whatever days and remember to empty the container which always has way more dust and crap in it than you think it would.
Nowhere near as cool as the original* CyberSecure™ Cyber Rating labelling scheme https://cybersecure.eigenmagic.com/
@daedalus I do actually need to buy a new robot vacuum sometime soon. It’s been 15 years since I last had one, they didn’t connect to wifi back then. I do think the stickers aren’t as good as yours though.
