Trump keeps expanding his trade war with Canada.
Instead of letting Trump bully smaller countries one by one, we need a pact of mutual support.
When Trump puts tariffs on Canada, not only Canada should retaliate — all the Democratic countries should put retaliatory tariffs on the US.

@randahl personally, I’m wishing we here in Canada were focusing on export taxes or simply cutting off their oil, electricity, potash, and toilet paper.
Other governments could be making quite a bit of money out of solidarity!

@randahl per chance could we make it conditional, such that it expires as soon as the U.S. presidency, house and senate are ceded to non-Republican majorities?
@randahl Canada being a UK Commonwealth country, I'm surprised the rest of the Commonwealths don't do that. They should. Britain and Australia have HUGE economies, and Britain is the gateway for Europe.
