Personally, I think we'll take the "self extinguish" approach to Extinguish.

I haven’t seen any fire fighting org that has come up with a mechanism to quickly and easily extinguish a battery in thermal runaway.
Let the fucker burn, stop it from spreading, limit contamination, get some good photos, share em with the meme-team.
