meanwhile, over on the blue butterfly web site, I think maybe they're starting to get nervous. remember when the blue bird web site started doing this?
@elebertus the one I usually see says "Leaving Bluesky", not "Potentially misleading link", and also no, for example, I just clicked a link to IndieWire and it just went with no interstitial. And it does seem specific to mastodon; it seems like maybe they *are* speedbumping users on their way to other social media.
Interesting, I'm not seeing that on the handful of mastodon.social links i tried (using the bsky.app web interface). did it only happen on one post? if so could you share the link with me (DM is fine) so i can look into this more?
honestly nothing I've seen in the last year _on_ the fediverse made me think that we had any juice, but this gives me the faintest glimmer of hope
@glyph We have a juice. We are here for ourselves. We are creating communities. We are making friendships. And we are doing that as free from the capitalist taint, as possible. We do not need to have anything more.
We do not need to grow in size. We do not need to monetise.
We just are.
We exist.
This is our juice.
@glyph isn't that just for all external links? I don't and won't use that website so my question may be silly.
