I want to advocate that according to my plan, the features projected for Drop Deck are about what you will expect in a complete release. 90% of all testing has been successful, with the exception of AI descriptions of the visual outputs, and minor elements of color editions. I am planning to rest the Windows build after proving the current flow. I will pick Mac OS back up and bring it current when Windows is fully stable on the video side. Thanks so much for being patient, willing to join the beta journey, and celebrate in a new piece of software that competes accessibly with it's commercial predecessors. It's been a messy and humble beginning since it's origin in March, but, I am proud to see these endeavors come to life. I'll even put myself in the firing range for any skilled developer who has thousands of hours of experience ahead of me, and I will never invalidate your contributions to the work that has helped push modern tech to where it is today. You've motivate me to learn, grow, and reach.
@tonygeb23 I was wondering about that, because with the way SPL is, I'm tempted to make Dropdeck a replacement for SPL. I assume the UI is WxPython, and one thing I like is when apps respect dark mode, and for this I made an easy WxPython library to do that, you can find it at https://github.com/alexoloopios/accessible-wxpython-darkmode although I'm hoping it will eventually be able to be moved over to Community Access, but you can use it with the pip command in the readme, and the good thing with this is that there's no checkboxes becoming buttons nonsense lol. @seedy60
@alexchapman @seedy60 Thank you so much, yes, it's intended to be an accessible and functional replacement for spl and OBS. The open beta has been super successful, and I'm stoked to hear your feedback and comments when you try it out.
@tonygeb23 Thanks. As for dark mode, I'm wondering if you would implement that, or if you want I can make a PR with it implemented. I have just enough limited vision to where dark mode is actually useful to me, not just that but there are low vision people who depend on dark interfaces and prefer apps to support dark mode. @seedy60

@tonygeb23 You're welcome. One thing I noticed when Claude was helping me implement the library into the app, when it was doing tests I kept getting random announcements piped to NVDA and some loud beeps, as well as the applause and other demo sounds.
@alexchapman Ha, that is the full test sweep that I have Claude run from start to end to ensure nothing functionally goes stail.
