I welcome the stance taken by the UK government on Israel’s occupation and its illegality. A much-needed beginning, even if it does not yet reverse all policies undermining Palestinian self-determination.
May the UK government and people hold firm. The pressure will be fierce.

@FranceskAlbs Twelve countries issued a joint statement announcing a ban on trade in products from illegal Israeli settlements: France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden. The occupation is furious and considering a response. Smotrich called for the expulsion of the British ambassador, and Ben-Gvir demanded that Israel recognize the Falklands as occupied territory from Britain.
@FranceskAlbs As people, it’s one thing this government has finally done right, hope they keep on doing the right thing and increase rather than reduce the pressure on Israel.
