This I Learned: to confuse invaders, Brussels ofen has two names for train stations and posts their signs at least ten meters apart.
Your travel app gives one, and you see another out the window. Until of course you disregard the station and see the second sign after the doors have closed.
Diabolical.

That's why it sounds so strange to me. But yes, I had to face it when configuring FediMeteo and wasn't aware of it.

@dexter Woah! Don‘t question the display of languages. This is a sensitive subject, here.
E.g. if you travel by train from northern Belgium (Flanders) via Brussels to the south (Wallonia), the train personell has to use Dutch in the north, Dutch AND French in Brussels, and French in the south.
Last year, a conductor got reported because he friendly greeted travellers in French and Dutch while - gasp - they were in Flanders! Luckily the national rail company supported their polite employee.

@dexter Fun fact: a Brussels taxi driver once told me that a client would not believe him that they had stopped at “Gare du Midi“ (French for South Station). The letters seemed to indicate something different: “Zuid Station“ (Dutch for South Station). No explanation by the driver would convince the client. The taxi driver finally drove all around the huge building to the opposite entrance where it said “Gare du Midi“.
