@neil Exactly. I suspect AI has had a hand in this doggerel, honestly. It's not just stupidly prolix, but also deeply weird in its structure and subtly wrong in a lot of small but important ways.

This is why, if I'm asked to review work which I suspect / have been told is AI-generated, I explain that it causes increased risk and legal review time, and so my review will take longer and cost more.
I think that this comes as a massive surprise to some people, who expect that, because it was cheap and easy to generate, it will be cheap and easy to review.
I am confident that I have lost work over this, but I refuse to do a bad job because of a mismatch of expectations.
