A lot of outdoor work in 90 degree heat today, but the sky was gorgeous and the wildflowers and insects were all doing their thing so beautifully. What an honor and privilege to live among them as we do. 🙇
When it got too hot we went bowling in town with another couple and had fun laughing at ourselves and each other. Bowling is one of those sports that is really fun even (or especially?) if you’re terrible at it. Plus the alley we went to still had that special 1960s family bowling vibe.

We went last year and you could turn on gutter guards so YES it was fun all around.
@geonz we’re going to do the gutter guards next time. Today we were just cheering all the gutter balls as if they were strikes.

IN college I did intramural and some people quit so two of us ended up joining up w/ ... well, the team name was the God Squad.
We had a match against the Big Testicles.
THey tried to harass us making big signs of the cross at us ... well, we blessed them back and won (erm perhaps because we drank less beer).
