writing up the data centre financial disaster and am having reinforced my opinion that Andrew Bailey of the Bank of England is a Peter Principled fucking idiot.

he was one at the FCA and now he's one at the BoE. i have had the misfortune of following his career since the bitcoin days

he's also a brexiter

why the fuck is he in charge of monetary stability

he also told uk workers they should stop asking for pay rises just after he got a 13% rise. the populace was strangely unconvinced

anyway his latest is headline "BoE warns of AI threat to economy" and it's literally he thinks Mythos will hack everything

@davidgerard I was being rude about Bailey to somebody who works with him. They told me he is very personable. They contrasted this sharply with Carney who sounds like an absolute arsehole
