@sbrudenell @ska @thibaultmol @drew Okay, so as a woman, it's nice to get the recognition from peers, it's a form of validation and good for my project.
But as a woman online I do have to consider the threat model. There's a reason some of us don't put our heads above the parapet.
You only have to look at the harrassment some of our more popular accounts get on here for explaining tech. Other popular women literally are being stalked right now.

@sbrudenell @ska @thibaultmol @drew is taking on risk by putting up a list. Which he has considered carefully, because he knows it's not just these petty petty men, but their fanboys. Some of whom love a chance to harrass and doxx someone for the slightest excuse.
For an outside example look at how JK Rowling offered funding for malicious prosecution against amnesty international.
It's not just monetary power, it's crowd power.
@sbrudenell @ska @thibaultmol @drew So we do need to take the risk, but Drew's right to not do a counterpoint list.
We can still share who we think are great folks to work with.
