Reminder it's not that the show predicts the future, it's that America hasn't solved it's problems over the past thirty years
I often get a bit of a twinge of sadness about that. A show presents a very current problem that should have been solved, it’s easy to solve, and then I look at the date and find that it was many decades old.
@futuresprog @byroncclark I watched all of Fresh Prince of Bel Air over the COVID lockdown and felt the same, a lot of commentary about racism in the US that felt topical despite the show being old
