@randahl Ah, Mr Sieg Heil does his Sieg Heil thing. 🙄
@randahl Be sure: we asked! Many times!
@randahl It's difficult when the people you want to speak to - the public who don't know or care about the platform - are on twitter. The first step would be to regulate toxic media like twitter, all meta stuff... But that won't happen either.
I don't know why anyone would use X, Facebook, instagram etc. Why are people still on whatsapp - paying zuckerberg's horribly toxic company?
@randahl Agree on the principle however compared to tiktok, Instagram youtube and telegram the direct Real World impact of X spreading fake news, conspiracy etc feeding and growing the far-right bubble is negligible in my opinion.
@randahl I am a German voter. I don't vote for politicians who post on X. Since I don't use X, it's sometimes a little difficult to figure out who is unelectable.
@randahl
I did. by mail and even a few letter but I doubt a person that actually cares for politics read it.
@randahl How many posts over how many years have said this.
Why are people still on X ???
@randahl Just like clueless American liberals and progressives still on X. Madness.
@randahl How totally unsurprising to see, that not even one day after the election, the fascist are selling the country to the capitalist.
@randahl alas, applies to politicians of all flavors, almost everywhere in the world and concerns the entire set of surveillance adtech platforms.
People just don't realize how much the political class has failed us in the digital era.
Whether merely dumb or bought/complicit, their uncritical use and endorsement of these platforms has shown that politics as being practiced everywhere is performative and largely fake: it is not grounded on a coherent moral core.
@randahl I am. I did. 🤷🏻♂️ Very few politicians here on Mastodon, sadly.
