The US ambassador to Israel accuses the UK Foreign Secretary of “Jew hatred” - apparently completely unaware that the UK Foreign Secretary is in fact Jewish. Both his parents fled to the UK from the Nazis - his father on the very last boat out of Ostend during the invasion of Belgium.

Most of the Foreign Secretary's other relatives perished in the Holocaust. His father's sisters miraculously survived - having fled deep into the French countryside, they were hidden by a poor farming family for the entire duration of the war.
