I’m adopting this as my new definition for success in everything I do.
I suspect my failure rate for all things will now drop a few percentage points.

Would add "or got (seriously) injured", but i don’t know your surroundings.
Mine's "The building still stands and nothing is on fire." Occasionally adapted to "and nothing is currently on fire" as the situation requires.
@NanoRaptor personally I’d slightly adjust it to “nobody died and *I* didn’t go to jail”
