It feels like they're suggesting everyone should duck tape giant exploding fireworks to their clown car, but don't worry, their fortune teller assured them the fireworks don't explode.
And seriously clown cars definitely can also save the circus from burning to the ground, through using fire. The fire eater guild assured us.

AI is like a car but the car sometimes goes down the wrong road for no reason and generally gives your a worse ride but it is faster.

@dansup before I got hired to Mastodon I was considering Bluesky. The more I see these sorts of things, the happier I am that it all worked out the way it did
@dansup interesting is certainly a descriptor.
I think it's interesting he points to cars as the metaphorical equivalent, given the uhhh, clear social negatives created by their proliferation.
@dansup Ethical high ground aside, who's liable when the AI-generated code has security flaws nobody understands anymore because nobody actually wrote it themselves?
