My ex-, who is my absolute best friend, took my spouse, who is one of her closest friends, out to fancy seafood dinner and drinks tonight.
I can totally approve of a girls' night out w/o being quite sanguine about whether or not I am to be one of the topics on the table.
But they seem to both have had a lovely time, and when ex- dropped spouse off, she came up and they had one more glass of wine for the road.
Nice chatter, no intervention, I am calm. Totally calm. I was totally calm the whole time.
