For Labor Day I'm simmering turkey brats in a quart of Heineken and grilling them, and putting them in buns with sauteed onions and bell peppers. I'll save the liquid as a base to boil potatoes in for zuppa toscana. Also found a place that carries 6-packs of Stiegl grapefruit radler, which is the best hot weather thirst quencher I know of.

And they're even more out of control because Italians won't eat them, because they "don't look right."
