@pezmico Oof, seeing this from the other side of the world (hi from Germany/Europe), reading the opponents calling it "Soviet" style - I bet they don't even have a clue about Soviet history or any first-hand stories.
And they appear to be capitalist lobby jerks, from just a quick glance. I hope this works out for the Greens. 🌱

@pezmico okay serious and possibly dumb question... if we are producing 40 million people's worth of food, and there's only 5 million of us, where is most of it going? I assumed it was mostly exported but is it all going to landfill (which is what the policy on their website seems to imply since it doesn't mention exports at all)?
@pezmico There are some bloody stupid things coming out of the coalition's collective mouths at the moment.
@pezmico it's only the last thing you need if you're already sorted. For the rest of us, access to food is pretty swell.
